Medical Council's 2012 Conference
The Medical Council held its 2012 conference and workshop programme on Friday 16th November 2012 in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham.
Primarily aimed at doctors, the Medical Council’s 2012 conference was also open to anyone with an interest in medical professionalism and the work of the Medical Council. The programme was designed to provide insights and key messages on doctors’ health, professionalism and ethical guidance.
The conference included a range of speakers from Ireland, the UK and New Zealand with a delegate led interactive session on fitness to practise vignettes.
Interactive workshops were held to provide participants with opportunities to explore professionalism in action by focusing on health, maintenance of professional competence and professional standards.
Conference attendees may be awarded up to 6.5 CPD credits for attendance at the conference. The conference has now concluded, videocasts of the event will be available next week.
