Dr Audrey Dillon

Dr. Audrey Dillon graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2006 and is in her final year of the Royal College of Physicians Specialist Registrar Training Scheme in General Internal Medicine (GIM) and Gastroenterology.
She has an active interest in ethics, particularly with regard to medical professionalism and holds a Masters in Healthcare Ethics and Law from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
She was a member of the Collegiate Member’s Committee in the Royal College of Physicians from 2011 to 2013. She served as the trainee representative to the GIM Specialty Training Committee and to the Acute Medicine Steering Group.
She is currently completing a research degree in the area of liver cirrhosis, and has a specific interest in fatty liver disease, particularly alcohol liver disease.
She was appointed to the Medical Council through election in the Non Consultant Hospital Doctor category, and is currently Vice President and Chair of the Ethics and Professionalism committee.
