Mr Sean Hurley

Mr Sean Hurley joined the Southern Health Board (SHB) in 1976 as the Management Accountant having previously worked with a number of the leading accountancy firms.

He subsequently held various senior management positions within the SHB. He was appointed CEO in 1992 and continued to December 2004, when health boards were replaced by the HSE.

Since 2005, he has been attached to the Office of the CEO at the HSE and involved in various Projects.

He previously served on the Boards of the Irish Blood Transfusion Service, BreastCheck and the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
