There are potentially a number of different eligible qualifications for each Member State and applicants should consult the checklists below to determine which is the appropriate qualification to submit.

Application Procedure for First Time Applicants

First time applicants are applicants who do not hold, or have not held, any form of Registration with the Medical Council. First time applicants should submit all the required supporting documentation for Registration.

Note: Applicants must ensure that the qualifications they possess are issued by the appropriate competent authorities in their home Member State and that the qualifications explicitly refer to the relevant Articles and Annexes of the Directive 2005/36/EC as amended.
