High Court confirms Fitness to Practise Committee decision

PART 9 OF THE MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS ACT, 2007

The Fitness to Practise Committee, following an inquiry on 7th October, 2009 found the practitioner guilty of professional misconduct and following submission of its report, the Medical Council, at its meeting on 3rd December, 2009 decided to censure the Practitioner's name in relation to his professional conduct and fine the practitioner in the sum of €1,000.
This decision was confirmed by High Court on 8th February, 2010.
