Undergraduate Medical Education

The responsibilities of the Medical Council in relation to Undergraduate Medical Education include the following:

• To fully approve or provisionally approve programmes and medical schools
• To publish standards and guidelines on curriculum and content
• To inspect medical schools and assess clinical training sites

• To establish Part 10 Rules in respect of the duties of Council in relation to Medical Education & Training (Section 88).pdf
