Level 3

Applying for a place in the Level 3

The Medical Council is pleased to announce that the next Level 3 is being held in Galway on Saturday 26th November 2011 and in Dublin on Friday 9th December 2011. Only candidates who are eligible to sit Level 3 are eligible to apply for a place in this examination. Available Level 3 places are very limited, and allocations are made strictly on a first-come-first-served basis on receipt of a fully completed Level 3 application form AND payment going through.

PLEASE NOTE THAT:
THE LEVEL 3 IS BEING HELD OVER ONE DAY. You would be required to sit THE FOLLOWING in GALWAY OR DUBLIN ON THE SAME DAY:

→ Interpretation skills on morning of Saturday 26th November 2011 (Galway)
→ Communication/Practical skills on morning OR afternoon of Saturday 26th November 2011 (Galway)

OR

→ Interpretation skills on morning of Friday 9th December 2011 (Dublin)
→ Communication/Practical skills on morning OR afternoon of Friday 9th December 2011 (Dublin)

The offer letter and application form (including Important Information) for this Level 3 will be emailed shortly to all eligible candidates.

PLEASE NOTE THAT:
The Level 3 Application Form is also available to download here. Eligible candidates should read the Important Information and Instructions contained with the Level 3 application form prior to completing and submitting their Level 3 Application. Additional Important Notice can be downloaded here.

PLEASE NOTE:
The closing date for return of completed Level 3 application forms, with the fee, to the Medical Council is on or before 17.00 on Friday 11th November 2011.

This deadline is strictly enforced. Please note: As the numbers of places available to sit the Level 3 is very limited, places may be filled before the closing date.

Please note that the Medical Council reserves the right not to hold an examination at the listed date/venue if there are insufficient candidate numbers or if there are circumstances beyond our control. Candidates will be moved to the next available examination date/venue.
