Restoring a name to the Register

It is a criminal offence to:

  • practise medicine within the Republic of Ireland without being registered in any Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners; or
  • falsely represent oneself as being a registered medical practitioner; or
  • falsely represent oneself as being registered in a Division of the Register other than the Division in which the practitioner is registered.
