Preliminary Proceedings Committee

The Preliminary Proceedings Committee considers complaints received concerning registered medical practitioners. Following consideration, the PPC provide an opinion to the Medical Council as to the decision of the complaint. Where the PPC is of the opinion that there is a prima facia case for the holding of an inquiry, then it refers the matter to the Fitness to Practice Committee.
