An opportunity to inform the Public Service Pay Commission

A national study commissioned by the Public Service Pay Commission, which is assisting the government to identify a range of options for resolving recruitment and retention difficulties of doctors and nurses in the public service conducted by an independent research company has been circulated to doctors from the Medical council today. The report on the findings will help to guide the Public Service Pay Commission with regard to its deliberations on recruitment and retention in the health sector and the development of policy in this area.
