Category A

This category is for medical practitioners who trained in Ireland on a structured higher specialist training programme with an approved Postgraduate Training Body and have been awarded a Certificate of Satisfactory Completion of Specialist Training (CSCST). For General Practitioners, the applicant must have completed a recognised training programme in General Practice and also be a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners (MICGP).

Transfer applicants do not have to supply the following documentation as they are already registered:

• Certificates of Good Standing / Professional Status
• Evidence of Identification
• Evidence of Basic (Primary) Medical Qualification

Transfer applicants do have to supply the following:

• Completed and signed application form.pdf
• Supporting documentation notarised, attested and translated as appropriate
