Purchase Orders
The Medical Council publishes purchase orders raised over €20,000. This information is published quarterly in arrears. Purchase Orders are inclusive of VAT where appropriate.
Suppliers subject to Withholding Tax will have it deducted at point of payment which may decrease the amount actually paid to under €20,000. The below figures include payments for goods and services and do not include grants-in-aid, reimbursements etc.
Tender Competitions and Contracts
The Medical Council follows public procurement guidelines when we tender for and award contracts for the provision of goods and services. Contracts are awarded through Requests for Quotations, Office of Government Procurement (OGP) Frameworks, and Requests for Tenders via etenders website.
Tender Competitions and Contracts
Details of open tender competitions over €25,000 are advertised on the etenders website. To search Medical Council tenders, complete the following steps:
- Go to https://www.etenders.gov.ie/
- Select Notice Search on the left hand side. A new tab will open.
- Search by preferred term eg. Keyword, time period or advanced search.
- Select “search within expired RFTs” to include completed tenders.
Where available the Medical Council will avail and tender via the OGP frameworks.
